Henan and Shandong are both the main China garlic producing areas , but the garlic varieties in the two regions are significantly different:
Henan garlic is mainly made of normal white garlic, while in Jinxiang, Jining, Shandong, there are normal white garlic and pure white garlic.
The other differences are:
Henan garlic has a white skin, a large head with many petals, usually around 12 petals per head. Its meat is tender, spicy and strong, and it does not spoil overnight
Jinxiang garlic has the advantages of large size, strong juice and flavor, crispy and delicious taste, anti-corrosion, and storage resistance. It also has medicinal value and is processed into garlic powder, garlic slices, allicin and other products
