How to store garlic?

    1. Hanging and braiding method. If you want to eat the original fresh garlic, you might as well buy more at one time, and then braid them into garlic braids like braids. After that, hang the garlic braid outside the window or by the window and other ventilated places, so as to delay the germination time of garlic and eat fresh garlic every time. If you are afraid of trouble, the sugar gourd shaped garlic sold in the supermarket can also be hung upside down in the ventilation place.

     2. Cold storage. If you buy less garlic, it is not suitable to adopt the hanging storage method. At this point, it is best to put garlic and other vegetables into the freezer of the refrigerator. Do not freeze. Garlic can be stored for at least half a month at a suitable low temperature. It will neither sprout nor rot.         

    3. Salting method. If you don't have high requirements for the freshness of garlic and the amount of garlic is not large, you can peel the garlic, put it in a clean box and sprinkle a handful of salt on it. Garlic preserved in this way can not sprout for a long time.        

    4. Oil immersion method. Another common method is to peel garlic, put it into a clean box and pour a layer of vegetable oil on it. This is a fat isolation method. It can isolate garlic from the air and delay its sprouting or deterioration.         

    Note: garlic is most afraid of high temperature. Therefore, when storing garlic, don't put it in the heating room. In addition, the air permeability of the plastic bag is poor. Using it to preserve garlic is easy to cause poor air circulation. Raising the temperature in the bag will also lead to sprouting or decay of garlic.
